A month-by-month chart comparing average RPMs for 2016 versus 2015 and 2014 was presented by our company President David Warmuz during a panel discussion at the NamesCon 2017 conference.

What can you learn from David’s chart?

David explained to the NamesCon audience that despite popular belief, traffic monetization is not dying a slow death.

He pointed out that some of the positive RPM trends were influenced by more and more traffic being redirected from parking to zero click monetization channels.

However, domains pointed to Above’s DNS also contributed to the positive RPM trends because this enabled AutoPilot to redirect each domain visitor to the highest paying channel. As a result, RPMs were boosted on underperforming domains that were previously restricted to only one channel.

In addition, AutoPilot provided an extra RPM boost on quality traffic thanks to its own “Maximizer” zero click channel integrated with company-owned Trellian Direct Search Network.
